Vacation Rental Furniture Checklist: Room by Room

Missing even one essential item can earn you a negative review. Use this room-by-room checklist to make sure your cabin has everything guests expect, and the extras that earn 5-star mentions.

LIVING ROOM: Sofa (seats 4+), accent chairs (2), coffee table, side tables (2), TV stand or mount, floor lamp, throw blankets, decorative pillows, wall art, area rug.

MASTER BEDROOM: King bed frame and mattress, nightstands (2), dresser, bedside lamps (2), full bedding set, extra pillows, luggage rack, mirror, blackout curtains.

GUEST BEDROOMS: Queen or full bed, nightstand, lamp, dresser or closet organizer, full bedding, extra blankets, hangers, mirror.

Note: Pillows, quilts and shams come from us only as part of a full cabin package. We don't sell linens or sheet sets.

DINING AREA: Table sized for max occupancy + 2, chairs for each seat, centerpiece or runner, adequate lighting.

OUTDOOR SPACES: Adirondack chairs or rockers, outdoor dining set, side tables, outdoor rug, string lights. A well-furnished deck can be your cabin's best photo and biggest review driver.
